Yes folks, it’s been a while since we’ve updated you, but that doesn’t mean at all that Saffy has gone into hiding. A lot has happened over the last couple of months, where to start? Well how about Saffy recently won the 2011 Nodojiman singing competition at London’s Japan Matsuri last September 2011. Her prize? A return ticket to the Land of the Rising Sun itself!
She’s also been furiously writing and arranging and is due to start recording in the next couple of weeks. There have been a few set backs, but Saffy’s in full swing now so her debut EP is looking fully set for a Spring release, stay tuned!
Saffy has been furiously writing and recording demo tracks these past couple of weeks working towards finalising the song list for her upcoming EP. She’s still performing live though! Most notably at the moment with Inner Chordence. Check them out singing Saffy’s full arrangement of ‘Grenade’ by Bruno Mars.
Also we are aware that the Gallery has been a little buggy lately and has been temporarily disabled. Will we have it up and running ASAP!
Yes folks, the webteam have finally put some of the finishing touches and tweaks to the website. There are a couple of pages still to come, but we thought we’d release it now anyway! Let us know if you come across any errors and we’ll get them fixed asap. In the meantime, check out this performance of Saffy singing with Inner Chordence from the Isle of Dogs Choirs Festival last week.
Saffy will be heading back to the studio at the end of the month to start recording again, heading in a more acoustic pop/funk direction. The next couple of weeks will be spent rehearsing with her awesome musicians.
